The UGA IFP is not your typical college class – the program requires you to adapt to a whole new learning environment.  We’ve found that the students who get the most out of the IFP are enthusiastic and open to discovering new ways of thinking, learning, and connecting ideas.

If you love being outdoors, are curious about the natural world, and are ready to give up air-conditioned auditoriums and PowerPoint lectures for a hands-on education in America’s most treasured scenic areas, then we want you to apply!

The IFP application includes application and course selection forms, two recommendations, and your college transcript. Add your high school transcript if you are in your first year of college.
